WHAT IS THE ETHIC LINE?

Who are we?

We are ETHICSGLOBAL, a leading independent third party specialized in the management of complaints and reports. Our Reporting System for Non-Ethical Behavior (Ethics Line) is the means to report unethical conduct in a confidential, secure, user-friendly manner and with the option to do so anonymously.

INTEGRITY AND UNETHICAL BEHAVIORS

The integrity of an organization has a direct impact on its reputation and success. When we all demonstrate integrity, our customers, suppliers, shareholders and even our competitors perceive us with an honest and fair image and our reputation remains positive.

Sometimes acting with integrity is not always easy and the correct response may not be apparent. Also, it may prove challenging to search the many laws and regulations that apply to us, as well as within our corporate governance.

However, there are some guiding principles to acting with integrity. Volaris´s code of ethics is the basis to understand adequate ethical behavior. Should you have questions about ethical behavior, or should you be witnessing an act that may not be according to our corporate value or your view of integrity, it is your responsibility to voice it.

To do so, you are entitled to communication mechanisms that are safe, easy, confidential. Your first option should always be your immediate supervisor or your manager as a point of contact to express your concerns. However, if you do not feel comfortable to have that conversation with them or you have tried, and have not been listened to, you can use Volaris Ethics Line to report non-ethical behaviors. When doing so, you can provide your name and contact details but this information is not mandatory.

OUR PROCESS

  • ETHICSGLOBAL captures each of the cases and transmits them to the Volaris' Ethics Committee which reviews every one of them. The Ethics Committee is composed of Volaris’ Senior Management, and should it be warranted, does a complete investigation and proposes a resolution that is in line with Volaris's Internal human resources policies.
  • Volaris expects all its employees to comply and help maintain our values and Code of Ethics by doing the right thing and meeting with our policies and procedures, as well as all the laws, rules and regulations applicable to us.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

  • Ensure that all employees have the freedom to lodge complaints and ask questions.
  • Provide tools and channels for the reception of queries and complaints in a secure, simple, confidential and anonymous way and without any fear of any repercussion or revenge.
  • Transmit timely all the cases to the Ethics Committee to investigate, solve and, where appropriate, sanction all reports received.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

  • Report any knowledge of inappropriate behavior.
  • Ask questions to ensure that you can identify adequately any unethical behavior.
  • Use the different complaint channels provided by Volaris.
  • Provide all the possible information and, where appropriate, proof of each case for the correct investigation.
  • • Follow up on the reports to know the status and corrective measures of any investigation, and if necessary add more information, evidence or reoccurrence.
